Some day is today
After months of trying to have a baby, we are finally pregnant!! If you stumble across this online diary, welcome. Read, laugh, cry with me as I travel through the next stage of life.
Our journey.
- January 1, 2005- Set up on a blind date by two friends
- June 2005- Moved down to Baltimore
- November 12, 2005 - Got engaged
- October 21, 2006 - Got married
- April 2007 - Began trying for our family
- November 2007 - Due history with Crohn's disease thought something might be wrong and saw RE
- January 2008 - Possiblity of scar tissue on tubes and LPD, started prometrium to lengthen cycle
- February 2008 - BFN
- March 2008 - BFN
- early April 2008 - decided to move on to IVF.
- April 9 2008 - Attended IVF class, plan to begin Lupron April 27
- April 9 2008 - BFP!! (took test to stop taking prometrium and got a big surprise
- April 10 2008 - beta#1: 80
- April 12, 2008 - beta #2: 156
- April 17, 2008 - beta #3: 1342
- April 23, 2008 - 1st u/s - saw the gestational sac
- May 1, 2008 - saw the heartbeat
- May 27, 2008 - heard the heartbeat for the first time
- August 14, 2008 - Found out we are having a girl!
